Barbara Neville
Hi! My name is Barbara Neville. Everyone calls me Barbie.
I moved to Copperopolis in 2016; relocating here from the Bay Area. My husband and I purchased land and built a home here that year. As an equestrian, I was excited to have a property with the Pedestrian & Equestrian (P&E) Trail out my back gate. Three years later, we are settled, and I am frequenting the equestrian trails on horseback with my equestrian friends. I am a licensed Realtor, and recently joined the new brokerage in town, RE/MAX Gold.
From our home building experience, I have become quite educated of the rules in the Association’s Architectural Control Handbook and the CC&Rs. I notice there is building going on out there and in some cases it appears the rules are not being followed.
As a member of our P&E Trails Committee, and as an active user of the trails, I am an advocate for our trail system.
A few of my goals as a Director would be to:
-
- Educate the Association and local realtors about the P&E Trails easements, of its value and rules; working to maintain and improve this asset.
- Educate the Association and the local realtors about the Architectural Control Handbook, its requirements and value.
- Work to maintain and create property value for Land and Homeowners in our Association. Pursue means to educate homeowners about property maintenance for health and safety (i.e., weed abatement for fire safety).
I believe my diverse business background would be an asset to the association. Prior to becoming a Realtor, I had 15+ years experience as an Executive Assistant at the Corporate Level (facilitating Board & Annual Meetings), 12+ years in Office/Facilities Management, 10+ years in Human Resource Administration Experience, 15+ years Customer Service Experience, have 15+ years Accounting and Bookkeeping Experience and 7+ years of Project Management Experience. To complement my real estate license, I also spent one year in Manufactured Home Sales and Project Management.
I look forward to meeting my neighbors in the community. Let’s put our heads together and bring solutions to our problems and create value in our Association and make it a great place to live (more than it already is)!
